2 In marathon/ running

Marathon training: Week 7 – When for the first time things did not go to plan

The week started well:

  • Monday: Rest
  • Tuesday: Crossfit
  • Wednesday: 27.04km run at 5:53 pace
  • Thursday: 6.74km recovery run with backpack (to the office) at 6:05 pace
  • Friday: Crossfit which included 6 x 400m intervals – 2.4 km at about 4:10 pace

Then on Friday night and Saturday morning I threw up a few times, and all day on Saturday had a slight fever and could not keep anything down.

  • Saturday: Nothing
  • Sunday: Nothing

Total:  36.18km

I was supposed to run 58km this week.

Next week we’ll be in Center Parcs and it was supposed to be my easy week but it looks like I’ve just had my easy week.  Running crazy loops around the little Center Parcs village – here I come 🙂

    Hope you get better. There are lots of bugs going around right.
