Do you hate when people tell you how many days there are left until Christmas? I won’t tell you but I’m sure you know that it’s coming. Soon. 🙂
I’ve put together a little list of inexpensive and fun gifts that I think runners would enjoy. Some of these items I already have and the rest are in my letter to Santa.
1. Yurbuds Inspire earphones, £24.99
I have a yellow pair. Very funky and don’t come out of your ears even in the rain.
2. “Running: An Inspiration”, book by Ali Clarke, £14.99
Beautiful coffee table book of running related photos and inspirational quotes and sayings. I have one of these to give away, see below!
3. Westlab epsom salts, £4.99
A bag of salt? Yup. Epsom salt baths are awesome for sore muscles but I always, always, forget to buy this stuff and never seem to have any in the house when I desperately need it. It’d be nice if someone sent me a bag once in a while.
4. RAD roller massage balls, £24.99
In my list. At the moment I use two taped up lacrosse balls in Crossfit and two balls connected like that are magic for sore knots in your muscles – M.A.G.I.C.
5. Electric rainbow compression socks, £24.99
I usually wear compression socks after long runs at home so they can be as crazy as they come. I have this pair and I love them so much I have worn them in public as well. They also work for rope climbs or box jumps or dead lifts.
6. “She believed she could. So she did.”, pillow by Nicola Rowlands, £13
Cute little pillows! You can stick one in an envelope and send to a friend on the other side of the world – perfect inexpensive present that’s bound to make the recipient smile.
7. KeepCup coffee cup, £10
I don’t know a runner who doesn’t love coffee and I love KeepCup – the company, what they do, as well as their cups. You can customise your own cup and they come in various sizes.
8. Running Memories medal holder, £24.99
We all have so much bling and Running Memories is a great British company who do customised medal holders of all sizes and colours and texts. I have the “mind over matter” one of course.
And now to my giveaway – the gorgeous running book by Ali Clarke:
It’s like flipping through Instagram – gorgeous glossy photos and words that are bound to inspire you and make you want to lace up right then and there.
Use the Rafflecoper below if you’d like to win a copy* and let me know what’s on top of your Christmas list this year!
And a big thank you to Summersdale Publishers for letting me review this book and for giving you the chance to have a copy as well.

November 23, 2014 at 12:43 pmAh that book looks well nice. On my Christmas list (or general next year want list as it’s all too expensive!) is a turbo trainer, bike computer, medal holder, trail shoes, padded cycling tights, and a winter cycling jersey. You can NEVER have too much kit! 😀

November 19, 2014 at 2:44 pmI like the look of the ‘bone technology’ head phones that literally stick to your head and transmit the sound that way – so your ears are still available to hear other sounds (bit mental). Though I’m surprised to see the Yurbuds are so cheap! I might have to change my mind…
