1 In blogging/ crossfit/ fitness/ health/ running/ who am I

Ending things, starting things, enjoying the ride as it is

I’m back from Australia. If you follow me on Instagram you are probably suspecting that it’s a shock to be back in the dark and the cold. You are suspecting correctly.

But c’est la vie, there are plenty of good things about living in London so I’m going to get stuck back into my routine and plough through and spring will come sooner or later.

In thinking about what I want from 2017, I just want to keep going the same way I have been going. It was a huge revelation to me a few years ago to finally accept that I’m enough just as I am. All the “flaws” that I’ve agonised about for decades I’m not bothered about anymore – I am who I am and I’m not “perfect” but neither are you. Neither is anyone. Perfection doesn’t exist. I am what I am and as long as I’m trying my best, it’s ok for me.

In general I’m aiming to run a bit more in 2017 and I’m aiming to lift a bit more. And I’m mostly aiming to have another year of no injuries, no dramas, no major blue periods. I’m aiming just to enjoy being fit and healthy.

In looking back at 2016, I collected some of my favorite posts to tie up this thing that was 2016. Have a read and let me know which one was your favorite!
