The weather here in London has been nice and sunny lately and I’ve been throwing frozen bananas in my blender to make milkshakes and smoothies almost every day.
My latest milkshake favourite is this one: The egg white protein powder makes it incredibly thick and fluffy. If you don’t have a frozen banana, use a regular one and toss in some ice cubes. If you don’t have a super ripe banana, add a couple of dates for sweetness. The quantities I use for one glass are roughly:
- 220ml unsweetened almond milk
- 20-30g egg white protein powder
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 medium frozen banana
Whizz up and enjoy! PS. You get 28-30g of protein from this little treat.
