I don’t have any running photos to post because guess what – I am still not running. I’m seriously fed up now and don’t know how to take this forward.
I don’t have any pain as such in my foot but the niggle/tightness/whateveryoucall it is still there and my physio says not to start running until my foot has been not niggling me for a few weeks.
That. Is. So. Annoying.
Do I really wait and not run until 2020? Or do I push it a bit and see what happens i.e. if I actually get any pain?
I have been running 2 x 1 km to CrossFit several times a week and that little distance is absolutely fine. But the physio says no.
So I keep thinking that maybe I’m just making things worse.
(insert silent scream)
Of course life’s not ALL bad, there are plenty of good things, like swimming outdoors again, like Crossfit, like rock climbing.
In the greater scheme of things I think the balance would definitely tip onto the positive side IF only some assholes hadn’t screwed off our shed doors on Sunday night and stolen two racing bikes.
Seriously. I don’t even know where to begin with this one. How do you not judge people who do things like that?
Who’s having a better week / month? Should I run or should I not? What would you do?

May 17, 2018 at 12:41 pmI so understand your frustration. As good as other exercise is, I always prefer running. There’s something so primal and basic about it. I really hope your foot feels better soon x
